Where Every Milestone Begins

Our Nido (Italian for "nest") environment is a warm, peaceful space designed to honor the extraordinary development that takes place during a child's first year and a half of life. Every detail โ€” from the low shelves to the natural materials โ€” is intentionally prepared to invite exploration and discovery.

At AMSA, each infant receives individualized attention from trained Montessori caregivers who observe, respond, and gently guide. We follow each baby's unique rhythm, ensuring that feeding, rest, and play happen in harmony with their natural schedule. This respectful approach builds a deep foundation of trust, security, and confidence.

The Prepared Environment

Our Nido features low mirrors, soft mats, grasping materials, and open shelving โ€” all at infant level. Every element supports sensory exploration, visual tracking, and early movement in a safe, beautiful space.

Language Development

From birth, children absorb language at an extraordinary rate. Our caregivers narrate daily routines, sing, read aloud, and engage in rich verbal interaction, laying the groundwork for future communication and literacy.

Trust & Bonding

Consistent, responsive caregiving is at the heart of our infant program. A primary caregiver model ensures each child develops a secure attachment, creating the emotional foundation for all future learning.

Motor Development

We provide ample floor time, age-appropriate climbing structures, and Montessori movement materials that encourage rolling, crawling, pulling up, and eventually walking โ€” all at each child's own pace.

Schedule & Routine

Every infant at AMSA follows an individualized schedule that respects their natural patterns for feeding, sleeping, and activity. Parents receive daily updates including photos, developmental observations, and detailed notes on meals and rest. Our open communication approach ensures families feel connected and informed throughout the day.
